 You must do these activities for each computer lab session
  • Practice touch typing for the first 30 minutes
  • For the rest of the time, update your website
    • For each subject add a post.
    • When adding a post, write about what have you learned in that subject in this week ( or anything you did in that class)
    • You could insert images, links, and videos related to the post

For each service you need to specify:
  • Description

Thesaurus and Text Boxes

 This project is due by Friday, 3-18-2011

  •   Write at least two paragraph  about one of the following topics

1.      A sport I’m good at

2.      My idea of a fun weekend

  •  Apply the following

1.      The title

§   Has to be inside a text box, place the text box in the upper middle of the page.

§  Drop a shadow ( shadow style 1) for the text box

2.      Paragraphs body

§  Set alignment to (justified)

3.      Your name

§  Insert a shape of your choice and insert your name into it.

§  Place the shape in the bottom of the page.

4.      Highlight any ten words in yellow and use the thesaurus to find three synonyms for each word. 

        If you can’t find any synonyms for the word you chose, chose another word. 

        Put the synonyms inside parentheses right after the original word and highlight them red)

5. Copy your work to the student share folder.


How to create charts in MS.Word

  1. Create a Microsoft Word Document and save it as ( your name + _ + your grade + "charts")
    1. Example Adam_6-1_charts
  2. Add four empty pages then add two charts in each page, (pie chart and column chart), for each of the following data:

    1. Students count in grades 5th, 6th, 7th  chart

    • Input

  • Computer Measuring Units ( Storage )
    • Bit        ---------------> 0 or 1
    • Byte   -----------------> 8 Bits
    • Kilo byte-------------->1000 bytes
    • Mega byte-----------> 1000 Kilo byte
    • Giga byte------------> 1000 Mega byte

Assignment:
  • Open Paint and draw the relationships between bits,bytes, kilo byte, Mega byte and Giga byte.
    • Draw a shape for each unit ( a square, circle , etc...)
